  •   This software is available for use in Founder's Hall, Room 126, Sylva campus, and in Macon Center, Room 108, Macon Campus, during open lab hours.
  • Adobe is no longer offering CS3 version software as they have moved to the CS4 version. Due to budget contraints, the college will not be able to upgrade lab software in the fall.
  • If you are purchasing this software, you will only be able to purchase the Adobe CS4 Web Premium Suite or CS4 Photoshop.
  • This software is required for the course and may be covered by your financial aid or Learn and Earn program.
  • The SCC Bookstore now offers this software at the student discount. You can get academic prices software directly from Adobe or from CampusTech or AcademicSuperstore. Be sure you are getting the education price for higher education students. Currently (8/09) the price averages around $199 for Photoshop CS4 and CS4 Web Premium Suite for $349.
  • If you plan to take future web design courses such as WEB 140 and WEB 120, you should consider purchasing the Adobe Creative Suite 4 Web Premium package for $349 (higher education student price), which includes Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash, and Photoshop.  (Dreamweaver is used for WEB 140, Photoshop is used for WEB 111, and Flash is used for WEB 120). Note - You need the Premium version as the Standard version does not include Photoshop.
  • To ensure that your computer can run the software you plan to purchase, you should review the systems requirements at www.adobe.com.
  • There is a 30-day free trial version of Photoshop CS4 available from www.adobe.com
