Textbooks are expensive! Used books are available from many online sources, but be sure you buy in time to have your book at the start of the semester.  Some online classes will also require that you purchase a key to online content, available either from the bookstore or the publisher.  Many of the publishers now offer rental programs or e-chapters as option, which could cut the cost of your text considerably.  If your instructor only plans to cover part of the text, buying only the e-chapters you need can save you money. Some publishers make the first chapter available free on their web site. Contact your instructor if you have questions about your text.
